Team EnVyUs Confirms ScreaM for CS:GO Lineup

Confirming rumors that had been circulating, Team EnVyUs has revealed the latest addition to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster to be Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom.

Since joining the competitive Counter-Strike scene in 2010 with hf.MOTHER, ScreaM has made a name for himself as one of the best Counter-Strike players to come from Belgium, if not the best. His rather unorthodox “tapping” style of burst shooting is used with such skill that he has been accused of hacking on several occasions even as he continued to show outstanding gameplay at international events.

Yet, despite his immensely successful career, ScreaM was one of the members recently released from G2 when they decided to take their future in CS:GO in a new direction after 2016 yielded little to no promising results for the team. ScreaM was allegedly meant to join FaZe Clan after the split, but the deal reportedly fell through.

Coincidentally, Team EnVyUs lost the vast majority of their roster when it was acquired by G2 Esports earlier this month, who intended to form a self-described French superteam. The next day it was announced that EnVy would be rebuilding their lineup around the two remaining members of the team, Christope “SIXER” Xia and Vincent “Happy” Cervoni, with the signing of Cédric “RpK” Guipouy, Alexandre “xms” Forté, and David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljevic.

However, ScreaM recently acted as a substitute for devoduvek at the European qualifier for the IEM Season XI World Championship while devoduvek stood in for Vexed Gaming at Assembly Winter 2017. Devoduvek continued to play with Vexed at Pasino Gaming Days a week later; Team EnVyUs has yet to release a statement regarding his position with the organization.

As for now, the official lineup is as follows:

  • Vincent “Happy” Cervoni
  • Christophe “SIXER” Xia
  • Cédric “RpK” Guipouy
  • Alexandre “xms” Forté
  • Adil “Scream” Benrlitom
  • David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljevic
