Mr. Ed Boon, creative director for Netherrealm Studios, will be paying a visit to SDCC to showcase the Tamaranian warrior’s capabilities. Back at E3 in June, Starfire was briefly described as a character with a unique but strong approach to zoning. That’s probably our only clue as to what to expect from her when we see her in action tomorrow.
The reveal will be brought to you by DC All Access at 1 P.M. Pacific Time! You can catch their live stream from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. PST via their Facebook page, as confirmed below.

Briefly before launch, it was confirmed that Injustice 2 would receive a total of nine DLC fighters, two of which have already been added in: Sub-Zero and Red Hood. Starfire’s addition will complete the first DLC Fighter Pack, leaving six more characters to be revealed. Potential clues to who they are can possibly be drawn from their darkened silhouettes at the character select screen.
Earlier today, NRS had conducted server maintenance for Injustice 2, clearly to prepare for Starfire’s addition to the game. It is extremely likely that her release date will be revealed tomorrow.
Injustice 2 is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC release has yet to be discussed. Characters can be purchased individually on either the PSN Store or Xbox Store, but if you have the money to spare, you can purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition to be covered for the first three DLC, or the Ultimate Edition to be covered for all DLC content as it arrives.
