Schedule and Details on @Anime_EVO Now Available

Nine games will be featured in EVO’s headline event at the Mandalay Bay this weekend, but that’s far from the only festivities competitors will get to enjoy. Another series of events called AnimEVO will deliver a series of side tournaments for anime-styled games, including a free-to-enter bracket for the newly released Gundam Versus which will be supported by Bandai Namco!

A stream schedule has yet to be disclosed, but other than that, participants can abide by the schedule below to plan their attendance accordingly. All AnimEVO events will occur at EVO’s BYOC area (bring your own controller).

For those looking to enter, pre-registration for every game at AnimEVO except Gundam Versus has closed. You can still sign up for GV’s bracket here. It should be noted that to participate in EVO you are required to have an entry pass on hand, meaning that you must already be a paid participant for the headline event.

If you have already signed up for Gundam Versus, you can visit AnimEVO’s SmashGG page below to learn about your preliminary pool assignments.

AnimEVO’s brackets begins this Friday at 10 P.M. Pacific Time. Good luck to everybody participating!

As for EVO itself, three of the anime FGC’s beloved titles will be featured on the World Stage as thousands of players clash for the title of World Champion. These titles are Blazblue: Central Fiction, Guilty Gear XRD Revelator 2 and King of Fighters XIV, which will feature a $14,000 pot bonus provided by Atlus and SNK – more details on that here.
