Release Date for PC Version of King of Fighters XIV set for June 15th
Players enjoying the latest entry in the King of Fighters franchise will soon be able to take the conflict to the PC platform via Steam on June 15th!
Created by Yasuyuki Oda, King of Fighters employs a tag-based system of three-versus-three kombat for a roster of over fifty characters fighting across extremely life-life arenas. New and old faces, four of which will be released via DLC updates, are sure to entice newcomers and veterans alike as they take their gameplay to the next level! King of Fighters is also supported by the Burst League, an Anime FGC circuit where the winners can qualify for this year’s CEOtaku tournament in Orlando this September.
The game is currently available to play on the Playstation 4, but starting in three weeks from now, the game will unlock on Steam for the PC player base. Until then, they can go to their Steam page to make a pre-order, whether it be for the standard edition or a deluxe edition. The latter comes with the following content:
- 4 DLC Characters – Rock Howard, Vanessa, Ryuji Yamazaki and Whip
- 10 DLC Costumes
- Digital Artbook
- Digital Soundtrack
If you’d prefer to try the console version right now, you can purchase a digital copy via the Playstation Store for $59.09. For a first glimpse at KOF gameplay, see this amazing clip of a Grand Finals match from Northwest Majors 9.
