Rainbow Six Siege Free To Play This Weekend

If you have been curious about Rainbow Six Siege but not sure if you wanted to buy or try it, then Ubisoft has a surprise for you.  A free version of the team-based shooter is available starting today (2/2/16) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This is probably to celebrate the new DLC that is to come out on Feb. 7th what comes with a new map and two new operators: Jackal and Mira. Mira just received her own little tease video on Ubisoft’s youtube. Check it out below.

This isn’t a surprise to most fans, but for all the new players out there, it comes with all the maps, modes, and characters in the full version. Additionally, the game is marked down 50 percent right now, meaning you can pick it up for $25 instead of $50 once the free weekend ends. It’s a win/win for most gamers.

Here is a rundown of when the free version of Rainbow Six Siege will be available on each platform:

Rainbow Six Siege Free Weekend

  • PC – From 1 PM EST, through 4 PM EST on February 5th
  • PlayStation 4 – From 1 PM EST, through 1 PM EST on February 6th
  • Xbox One – From 3:01 AM EST on February 2 through 2:59 AM EST on February 6th

Console players need to have PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold to take part. The PC version is available on Uplay and Steam. You can see all the system requirements you may need right here.
