After a brief stay with InControl Gaming, Cole “Flux” Tocci has signed with Method in preparation for his entrance into Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, the next chapter of the Marvel vs Capom series! The Twitter post confirming his signing can be found here.

A known regular from Next Level Battle Circuit, a weekly local held in New York every Wednesday, Flux was recently crowned the champion for UMvC3 at East Coast Throwdown 2017 earlier this month. The outcome proved a fitting reward for his tireless persistence at prevailing against the Marvel scene’s strongest players. His last known victory in Marvel was at The Fall Classic in 2014.

Coincidentally, Flux actually took up competitive gaming during his World of Warcraft days in the later half of the previous decade, competing against Method’s players for World firsts in the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King expansions. In 2008, Flux was introduced to the fighting game community via contact with his friends, but it wasn’t until 2009 that he would completely shift his interest from WoW to Capcom’s biggest titles at the time: Street Fighter IV and Marvel vs Capcom 3.

With the end of the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 era upon us, Flux finishes off his career as a player ranked within the Top 10 of Shoryuken’s rankings, and he is fully prepared to repeat his domination in Infinite. Additionally, he took up Blazblue in 2017 and quickly became a force to be reckoned with, finishing in the Burst League’s first season at 8th place with 230 points.

“I was once a competitor of Method’s in WoW, and to now join their ranks and represent them in competition for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is an absolute honor,” said Flux, now a member of Method’s FGC division. “I can’t wait to further the Method tradition of excellence!”

His goals for next year? You guessed it…taking home the win in a circuit series for Marvel Infinite. Follow him and Method on Twitter to stay updated on their endeavors!
