Launch Event for @CallofDuty WWII Private Beta on August 25th

On August 25th, gamers who pre-ordered their PS4 copy of the upcoming Call of Duty: World War II will be granted access to a private beta in order to experience the game for the first time. The beta will revolve around the game’s online multiplayer feature so that Activision can observe how well their servers perform.

To celebrate this occasion, we will host an event that will immediately follow the release of the beta.

Hmmm, just what is this “bigger news” we’ve teased…?

Call of Duty: World War II, designed by Activision and Sledgehammer Games, will release for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms on November 3rd, 2017. Players who pre-ordered their copy for either of the console versions will have the opportunity to experience the beta for themselves on two different occasions. The PS4 beta will run from August 25th to the 28th, while a second beta for both PS4 and Xbox One will run from September 1st to the 4th.

Other than testing out the gameplay, you will receive quite a number of benefits for entering the beta. For one, you will get the exclusive Private Beta Combat Pack to use for the final version of CODWWII. In addition, beta players will be able to experience an all-new approach to multiplayer known as War Mode, a narrated retelling of the battles from World War II that occurs simultaneously with gameplay.

For information on the beta, visit this page from the official Call of Duty website. We’ll see you on StreamMe when the beta hits the Playstation 4!
