Injustice 2 Mobile App Coming Soon
Following in the footsteps of the previous Injustice as well as Mortal Kombat X, Injustice 2 is coming not only to consoles but also to everybody’s cell phones!

From the images posted, the gameplay follows a three-versus-three combat system where DC heroes and villains alike battle one another. As you play the game, you will be able to level up your characters and unlock new abilities just like in the console version, and you will also unlock in-game currency that you can use to purchase more content.
The mobile app appears to have already been leaked, however, because gameplay videos are popping up on YouTube at a rapid pace. One such clip (seen below at 1:09) includes a look at Green Lantern’s super attack. Since Superman is seen performing his super attack from the console version in the Twitter image above, it is likely Green Lantern’s variation will carry over to the consoles as well, along with his Injustice 1 moveset.
Side-note: this clip also gives us a look at Harley Quinn and Cyborg gameplay. The former has already been confirmed whereas the latter has yet to share in her fate.
Of course, this is assuming that Green Lantern will be confirmed as part of Injustice 2’s base roster for its launch on May 16th. However, based off a few of Atrocitus’s introductory quotes from the beta version, we’d be pretty surprised if Hal Jordan were to be de-confirmed. As evidence, see the video below (skip to 1:50-2:12).
As MKX players recall, completing specific tasks in the MKX mobile app unlocked content for them to use on the console version, provided they had a WB Play account synced to their console. Obviously, Injustice 2 will function similarly. The only question is…what content will be unlocked via this method?
