Fighter Pack 2 for @InjusticeGame 2 to be revealed at @gamescom?!

This morning, the Injustice community got a very welcome treat over at Reddit.

Apparently, the second Fighter Pack for Injustice 2, which will feature the next three DLC characters coming to the game, will be unveiled over at Gamescom in Germany on August 23rd, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. BST! Not only that, but the NRS team will welcome two celebrity guests to the stage to take part in a celebrity charity competition.

These guests are Steve Aoki, an American electro musician recognized by Pollstar as the highest grossing dance artist in 2012; and Don Diablo, a record producer and musician who ranked at 15th out of the Top 100 DJs in a list released by Dance Magazine last year!

At first users were skeptical about whether or not it was legitimate, but the fact that it’s been branded with the official logos for WB, DC Comics and Netherrealm Studios seems to confirm that the leak is accurate. After all, they are known to throw unexpected but welcome surprises in our direction.

As for Gamescom, also known in Germany as “the Heart of Gaming,” it is regarded as the leading brand for digital gaming culture in Europe. Once a year, fans converge at the¬†Koelnmesse GmbH in Cologne, North Rhine-WestPhalia to meet with the companies responsible for delivering today’s beloved gaming franchises to those playing it today. The convention was founded in 2009 and has since been occurring on early to mid-August of every year.

It’s also worth noting that Ghost Rider will be featured in a pre-launch build for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite at Gamescom, before the game is officially released in September 19, 2017. See here for details.

Instructions on how to order your ticket to Gamescom can be discovered at their official website. As of now, we are a week away from the day that Gamescom opens its doors to gamers in Germany.

Injustice 2 is now available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One. All of the first DLC Fighter Pack is also available, whether as a separate purchase for each character or as a complete package. Owners of the Ultimate Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition for the game will have immediate access to Starfire, Sub-Zero and Red Hood, and fans can also enjoy early access for each DLC character if they own the Ultimate Edition.

Plans for a PC release have yet to be disclosed.
