FaZe Clan Drop Out of DreamHack Winter

Citing scheduling complications, DreamHack has announced that FaZe Clan’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team has withdrawn from the ZOWIE Open at DreamHack Winter.

According to DreamHack, the team has a schedule that is too full to include the event in Jönköping, Sweden. Their schedule for the month of November includes iBUYPOWER Masters (November 12th-13th) where, if they win, they will be qualified to compete at Intel Extreme Masters Oakland the following weekend. FaZe Clan will also participate FACEIT’s The Esports Championship Series, which is scheduled to take place during DreamHack Winter.

To fill the vacant slot, Team Kinguin and Epsilon eSports will play against one another Tuesday evening in a match that will be broadcasted to HLTV. They both placed third and fourth at the qualifiers and are the next in line to compete in DreamHack Winter’s $100,000 CS:GO event.

With FaZe Clan having dropped out, the current lineup for the DreamHack ZOWIE Open during DreamHack Winter 2016 at Elmia Convention Center is as follows:

Cloud 9
Detroit Renegades
OpTic Gaming
Gambit eSports
Flip3Sid3 Tactics
Team Dignitas
