ESL AU & NZ Championship Adds Overwatch

Today, it was revealed that Overwatch will be joining Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Rocket League at ESL’s Australia and New Zealand Championship.

Boasting a $12,000 AUD prize pool for the entire circuit, the championship will begin with two monthly online cups that are slated to kick off this weekend. The cups will allow a total of four teams to qualify for each monthly final, which will offer $1,000 in prizes. The winning team of each cup will advance to the offline grand finals in May, where they will compete for the title of champion and the lion’s share of $10,000.
