DreamHack Austin will kick off on April 28th and run until the 30th at the Austin Convention Center. Players will compete for the biggest cut of the $15,000 USD prize pool starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 29th, with the finals playing out on Sunday afternoon.

Those who have tickets to the event will be eligible to compete in the Street Fighter V tournament, so if you want to get yourself in the game then you better act fast. Tickets range from $36 USD to $99, varying on the number of days you wish to attend and if you desire a BYOC LAN pass, and can be found by clicking here. If you already have your tickets, you can register for the tournament on the official smash.gg page here.

There is still speculation regarding whether or not premier events will continue to provide automatic qualification for the Capcom Cup but, as things currently stand, it is assumed that the winner of a Capcom Pro Tour Premier Event will be qualified for the CPT. More details regarding the CPT will be revealed on Monday, February 27th.
