CPT Latin America Finals To Take Place During Canada Cup

With the highly-anticipated finale of Street Fighter V’s 2016 circuit less than two months away, Capcom has updated their schedule to include the Latin American Finals for the Capcom Pro Tour, which will take place October 29th through November 2nd in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This places the event on the same weekend as the Canada Cup, another premier-level event that will be held in Toronto from October 28th until the 30th.

The Latin America Finals will be one of the last events of the 2016 season before the Capcom Cup, which is set to kick off in Anaheim, CA, during PlayStation Experience starting on December 3rd. Currently, the only other premier-level events afterwords will be the NA Regional Finals: Red Bull Battle Grounds in Seattle on November 4th to the 6th, and the CPT Asia Regional Finals in South Korea on the 17th through 19th. The winner of the Latin America Finals, which will showcase players like Kenneth “K-Brad” Bradley and Antonio “Kusanagi” Medrano, will advance to Capcom Cup to compete for the lion’s share of the $250,000 prize pool.
