Capcom Pro Tour Event “Battle Arena Melbourne 9” starts tomorrow!

This Saturday (or technically tomorrow for the USA given the difference in time zones), the next Capcom Pro Tour Premier Event kicks off in Australia! It will take place at a yearly major event established by the Australian FGC: Battle Arena Melbourne 9!

From May 12th until the 14th, Battle Arena Melbourne embarks on its ninth installment as Australia’s largest fighting game event of the year! Players from all over the world will be in attendance to compete for a spot at this year’s Capcom Cup 2017 finals, which will occur this December at Anaheim, California!

Examples of players that will be in attendance include:

  • Xiao Hai
  • Fuudo
  • Tokido
  • GO1
  • Sako

The list goes on and on! Australia is looking set to deliver quite a stacked bracket as part of the Capcom Pro Tour! To find the brackets and player lists, you can head over to their Smash.GG page.

Once again, the time zones need to be brought to attention. For those living in the Eastern Time Zone, Saturday at 10 A.M. in Australia translates to Friday at 8 P.M. EST. See below for the live stream schedule and look for your time zone so that you don’t miss the broadcast!
