What You Need to Know About CEO Dreamland

Get your hands ready to clap, because CEO fans are about to get an entire weekend of Dreamland.

CEO’s Alex Jebailey has revealed the details for a Smash-oriented CEO event that fans have been waiting to hear about since he teased the possibility of it earlier this month, and it sounds just as awesome as everyone was hoping it would be.

CEO Dreamland will take place at the Wyndham Orlando Resort, which has been home to CEO’s main event for six consecutive years, from April 14th to the 16th. The inaugural event will feature tournaments for Super Smash Bros. 64, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U, Brawlhalla, and Rivals of Aether, the latter two being no surprise despite not being Smash titles.

All five titles will have official doubles tournaments that begin on 12pm on Friday, April 14th, and run until the day ends. Singles are slated to start on Saturday, April 15th, at 10am. Sunday will be reserved for the finals for the singles tournament for each title. Outside of the main events, CEO Dreamland will be allowing approved side tournaments in the BYOC room for those who reach out to them before the event begins. Registration will go live on December 16th via Smash.gg.

If you’re not feeling up to playing video games on a competitive level, because you decided to pull a Zero and messed up your finger, or because you’re not one for flaunting your skills like those jersey-clad showoffs, there will be another fun event for fans to participate in and still win cool prizes. CEO Dreamland’s Easter Egg Hunt will be running all weekend long, where attendees can hunt down eggs that have been distributed throughout the resort; a list of prizes will be revealed at a later date.

Just like with previous CEO events, the Wyndham Orlando Resort has specials running for those who wish to take advantage of the CEO fan block. For more information, check out the CEO Dreamland website.
